Yesterday was the 24th of July. A day to remember the pioneers and their travels to Utah. We went up to my parent’s house in Salt Lake City. It was fun to be up there. Matt Chantry and we had a lot of fun. We played some tennis with Scott and Steve. I really miss playing a lot of tennis. Granted, I’m not in the shape that I was in high school, but I still am pretty decent don’t make a fool of myself.
We were going to go to Liberty Park for fireworks but the weather was not very good. There were some pretty serious thunderstorms so we stayed at my parents and watched Brigham Young. I fell asleep partway through the movie, but it was weird to see Vincent Price as Joseph Smith. From what Tammy told me it was a pretty good movie considering it was Hollywoodized and from 1940.
