We had dinner last night at Aunt Bea’s. That woman sure can cook. I think Tammy once told me that she graduated from college with a degree in cooking That is pretty cool. She is one of the spunkiest old people that I’ve ever seen. And talk about busy! We had a really good time visiting with her, and her son Lynn and his wife Karma. They were impressed with the boys and how active they are. They loved being on the farm and seeing all of the animals, especially the cows
Tammy’s mom came to visit on Monday and is hanging out with Tammy right now. She brought some Chaka’s sauce, sourdough bread and a Baby Einstein video. The boys loved the movie! They were dancing and clapping along and giving lots of “WOOOAAAHHHs” for each new animal. We don’t think that the TV should be a babysitter, but it is nice to be able to distract them for a few minutes so Tammy can get something done.
We saw Mars last night, supposedly it is the closet it has been for several thousand years. It was really cool to see, and it made us think about what the star that appeared for Jesus’s birth must have looked like? I want to get a telescope someday and take the boys out to look at the sky. There are some amazing things to see. God is quite the artist!
