Vonage
Done gone and taken the plunge.
Tammy’s complaining about a weird echoing on the phone line the past few days has finally convinced me to try out Vonage for our local phone service. $24.99 a month and we get a ton of features, including the ability to call anywhere in Utah unlimited!! So let’s review
- It costs $2 more than we pay now for the basic, basic, basic dial tone
- We get, voicemail, callerid, call waiting, call forwarding and other cool stuff
- You can listen to voicemail on the web
- 500 minutes of long distance a month, and after that only 3 cents a minute!
As you can see there were a lot of exclamation points in that list. What can I say, too good to be true. The only worries are relying on the Internet connection for all phone calls and the overall quality. But the reviews that I’ve seen are good so I’m going for it. Here’s hoping
