That is so true. As I develop new applications, designs, etc. for websites, I find I get lost in the application I&#039;m using. I&#039;ve found I&#039;m most effective with a pad and pencil, doodling out my design, my &quot;flowchart&quot;, etc. Developing a design &quot;from scratch&quot; in a layout or drawing program (Photoshop, Fireworks, etc) actually suppresses my productivity and creativity. I&#039;m not sure why that is, or if it is just me, but it seems to hold true as a general principle.

And computers and technology were supposed to make things faster!</description>
