hornThe Church has put some more great resources out on their Web site. Overall I’m very impressed by the quality of the entire site and the resources available. First there is an update on the Handheld Resources, including linking to the Yanceyware Reader for the Pocket PC which is overall a superior reader to the old Church one. The second new resource is the Church publications in compressed audio format hereafter known as ‘MP3′.

You can download and listen to tons of Church publications including the Scriptures, General Conference and several months of Ensigns. And we are talking high quality, cool ‘radioesque’ voices doing the reading too. Looks like I’m going to have to get me an iPod now. Strictly for gospel purposes.

  • That’s awesome! If you find any arguments for the Ipod that have good levels of success, please let me know. :)

  • Dan, I wrote some time-saver scripts to download all the mp3′s of the book of mormon and d&c. (I don’t know why they don’t just provide zip files of everything…) Let me know if you’d like them, and I’ll send them to you (about 350 MB each). Or if you can run a bash script somehow I can just send you the script itself.
