Well the sun shon, for a little while this week, and then rained and now it is
sunny again. The weather here is almost exactly like utah. I LOVE IT. We were
supposed to have an ausstellung, (street display?) on saturday but the weather
was too bad. Well I guess the big news is, I am getting a new companion. Elder
Clark, from Montana. He doesnt get here until wednesday, so I am with the other
bremen elders until then. We finished the spring cleaning of our apartment, and
it looks good. Then tuesday, we had the opportunity, as a district, to go up to
bremerhaven, and take a look and the ship museum for entire Germany. That was
pretty neat. The week, as far as work goes, was pretty pathetic. Elder Waldrip
had been here for 8 months, and to cut all ties in a week is a little difficult.
We had A TON OF FOOD. I dont think I have eaten so much, in my entire life. All
was real tasty, and I never left dissatisfied. We also had a little run in with
anti american demonstrations. Nothing big, but it was an interesting
circumstance, because also there, was people protesting against the protesters.
Holding up american flags, and passing out flyers. it was interesting. I also
got a picture of that. I dont know how that whole thing works with pictures. How
many pictures have you all seen? Well I think that is about it.
Thank you mom for all the news, I had not heard alot of those things, especially
the one about monty. weird. Glad I am out here on a mission and can just focus
on the work, and dont have to worry about that, or about the american politics.
Glad the bartons are doing well. That is hard to hear about Eric. Hope he can
get through that all right. And Mike Wynn also, too bad he is sick. I have not
heard too much about our new president, we will see. No real last requests, but
a question. Did you get my cd with all my pictures on it? or did Jeff get his
birthday package, no one ever said anything about either of those.
